But competing globally with companies like Google meant that the OS brand had to modernise in order to stand out from the rest. It was necessary for the new brand to strike a balance between the familiar and the forward-looking.
We developed a new logo, new brand values, new map covers, new website and new brand guidelines, plus everything in between.
Staying true to the essence of OS meant that, despite the change, everybody felt connected with and supportive of the new brand; from board level, to grassroots, to the people who just love collecting OS maps.

When Rita and Tom contacted me to design their wedding invitation, I was excited to design something that would reflect their fun loving personality.
They had a lot of information to communicate, so making it easy to digest was a priority. Using a mix of fonts, icons and colour helped with keeping the copy clear, while also making it a fun read.
